Together, Capt. Tom Murphy and mate/Co-Capt. Kevin Compton have operated successful charter fishing operations for offshore and inshore species for more than 20 years along the Chesapeake Bay and Mid-Atlantic Coastline. Their passion for offshore big game fishing started over a decade ago and has since grown into an obsession to master the art and science of catching Bluewater Pelagics.

Capt. Tom and Capt. Kevin focus on 2 primary fisheries.
• April and May on the Chesapeake: The focus in on the Spring Trophy Striper Season along the middle Chesapeake Bay. Departing from Kent Island, trolling a traditional spread of 15 rods along with planer boards, tandem bucktail, parachute and umbrella rigs provides a great opportunity for all anglers to experience catching the Chesapeake’s #1 game fish, the Rockfish or Striped Bass.
• June – October in the Atlantic Ocean: The attention switches entirely to our specialty of offshore big-game fishing. Relocating MEGA-BITE back to her home port of Indian River Inlet in Delaware, they concentrate on water temperature, bait concentrations, annual migratory paths and lots of experience to put them right in the middle of some of the best Tuna, Shark, Billfish, Wahoo and Dolphin fishing along the Mid-Atlantic Coast.

Capt. Tom Murphy enjoys exposing all levels of anglers to the joys of offshore fishing. Whether you are a novice or expert, junior, senior, male or female….it is his goal to provide the very best opportunity to catch a fish of a lifetime and more importantly, a very memorable experience on the water.
