Welcome to CD Outdoors, operated by Chesapeake native Capt. Chris Dollar who has more than 25 years experience leading outdoor adventures on the Chesapeake Bay. Capt. Chris specializes in fly and light tackle fishing, either on center console and kayak. Explore the Chesapeake's marsh guts and glide across grass flats casting for rockfish (stripers), bluefish, speckled trout, red drum and cobia. The Chesapeake and its rivers are ideal for light tackle and fly angling, especially in the shallows.
We fish from Native Watercraft kayaks, the most stable yaks on the water, and use top-quality fishing equipment including St. Croix rods. We also fish from an Everglades 243cc. Need a bigger boat for your family or company fishing trip? We can connect you with experienced Bay captains to accommodate you.
